I ordered a 20 count of 5/0 assist hooks from this company when I received the package I noticed they were shipped all together Which is fine with the exception of the hook and barb sharp points were in bedded into the braided line. Only a couple of the assist hooks were effected by this issue. (see pics for more detail)Other than that I still need to inspect or try how the performance of the hook and braided/nylon string works.Eh, for the price you get what you pay for, a lot of not the best assist hooks. Out of 20, 5 are actually decent hooks, 9 are mediocre with problems like overextended points, points curved upward way too far, slightly over cut barbs, and just general dullness. 6 of them are crap, waaaay over cut barbs to the point that if I see to crimp the barb, the point would break off. Or so dull that it's actually kind of comical. End of the day, not going to but them again, I have to stop being lazy and just make my own. Over all making them yourself is more economical.you can release the fish easily with out harming itOnly rated as 4 stars because I have yet to try them; they appear to be strong sharp assist hooks. Craftsmenship is very good- time will tell if i upgrade the rating.Hooks are sharp but the red plastic wraps they put on them aren't sealed at all. Both ends of them are open. Would work a lot better if they were shrink tubing.Just what I expected. The cordage could be a little lighter given the hook size, but they should be OK, the price was right.Consistent form and sharpness, solidly put together. Used six in a butterfly configuration over three days of fishing last weekend with good results. Seems the small kelp greenlings like to hit on the red heat shrink. Probably would be better off black, may paint them.Hooks are shipped loose in a plastic bag - hooks are stuck together as the leader is a cord. These hooks are barbed so removing them destroys the cord. Useless - total loss.
