I bought a size bigger than what i usually am as i read a few reviews that said this jackets runs small. I am usually size 12-14 and i bought an extra large. The size is a little roomier but by no means baggy...it is actually awesome, extremely flattering fit that can be pulled in at the waist with the attached belt. Because it is a little roomier i can wear it in winter with bulk underneath or summer as a lighter rain jacket. It is a very stylish rain jacket, and exceptionally well made with attention to detail that i find lacking in most designs.The hood is a great shape and size to protect from the weather and folds up into the collar if you don't want to use it. It has a durable looking drawstring component, a thick pink cord (like those survival ones) with a rubber material catch.. that allows you to tighten it, and a button on either side to clip it in closer to the face or to release for a more relaxed fit. The front lapels of the jacket look fabulous, you can wear it semi zipped like the model has in the picture, or zip it all the way up to the chin with snap button fastened flap covering the entire zip for ultimate protection.The colours are gorgeous, the inner colour is bright pink (inside hood and rest of jacket) and the outer is a navy blue. This contrast works really well together. Can capture glimpses of the vibrant pink depending on how you wear the coat, also the pink detail features seen in models picture are subtle but effective. There are additional zip features on the sleeves that expand the material and a trench flap at the back of the coat for breathability. Pockets are nice and deep while also being secure with zips.Material feels strong and the length is perfect for additional coverup. It is a longer coat without being restrictive.I love this coat and highly recommend it to the fashion savvy who also want an exceptional quality raincoat.Can wear it around town, over your dress or out in the wild, off the beaten track.Versatile, good looking and weather proof!I am glad I read the reviews and sized up. I normally wear a petite 4, and ordered this in a medium. Snug through the shoulders, but not unbearable, since I plan to use it in warm weather with a lightweight top. The sleeves are long, but I expected that, so not an issue. I am familiar with two-way zippers, so no issue there. The jacket appears to be very well made, and the color is a gorgeous cherry red. Overall I am happy with my purchase.This coat is all it promises- waterproof, and very breathable. No clammy, steamy rain jacket here! I wore this almost every day for 3 weeks, on a trip; it never let me down. Worked well even on slightly warmer days, when I thought it might be too heavy (mid-70's). This coat is very well made, as well. The color in the photo on this listing is slightly off; it's a deeper, darker blue than shown here, I think. I looked at listings for the steel blue elsewhere, before ordering from Amazon. The hood is not detachable, but folds up in the collar; it is a very well made hood, and deep! It even kept my face dry. I got an XL (to fit a sweater under it), which is what I typically take- so I'd say it runs true to size. Sleeves were a little long, but I like that. I might have to get this in other colors, now...Great Persian red color - subdued red not orangey at all. Small fit perfect 5’1” 110 lbs for reference. Won’t be able to wear a heavy sweater or thick sweatshirt underneath due to narrow back shoulder blade area. Helly Hansen items are generally narrower in the shoulders, back, hips and chest, while being long in sleeve, body and overall lengths. I’m XS in most brands but S in HH.This coat was purchased with a good discount and am so glad I committed to it. It hasn't seen rain yet but kept me warm enough after a freak late-summer snow fall in Lake Tahoe with the help of a couple warm layers underneath. It's quite stylish with copper accents, the collar protects my very sensitive neck (yay), and a large fits me fine (I'm 5'2", very curvy, and at least 140+ lbs). The sleeves are a little long but I'm used to that. One star is docked because the zipper is a little bit of a challenge to use.I'll follow up once I've had a chance to wear it in the rain and Bura conditions.I would have given it five stars except this jacket runs small throughout the arms and across the back shoulder area (upper back). So for those of you who are wanting a sophisticated rain jacket, the Helly Hansen Wesley Trench Coat will not disappoint. Just be sure to order a size larger. It's also nice that this brand has a good range of colors from which to choose. I was not overheated or felt I was in a sauna by wearing it within its first deluge of rain, so the breathable part is true. Other than the size issue, it will not disappoint in both style and comfort.Stylish, sporty and elegant at the same time. Since having now already 4 colors (2 dark-navy blue &black then persian red(read pink) and water blue). Both darker colors indeed so elegant, and the other 2 perfect for freetime, outside, since this trench coats are windproof and waterproof. Ideal for walking our pets out or simply for the free time, ideal for work....Be careful with the size, if U're body is a shape A then your regular size, otherwise it can be tight across shoulders, so I suggest a size up for the extra confort.One of my best online buys that's why I ordered already 4 colors. I was afraid that it would be too short - it comes just below rear of model. I think the model was wearing a small and she must be very tall which would make it seem like too short. I an 5'7" and it came to just below mid-thigh - which is perfect and in no way too short. Nice coverage length-wise. Looking forward to taking it on my Norway and Shetland trip. Viene forrada, por lo que es más caliente que un simple impermeable y ayuda también a resguardarte del viento.Yo la tengo en color marino y es super oscura, casi negra.Es estrecha a la altura del busto, por lo que si tienes busto grande o espalda ancha te recomiendo pidas una talla más grande que la tuya., en mi caso yo uso talla 8 americana y la compré en L y puedo usarla con dos capas de manga larga delgadas por abajo, pero no se ve grande.La razón por la que le pongo 4 estrellas y no 5 es porque tiene varios detalles que podrían mejorarse:1. cierre, es casi imposible de cerrar correctamente. Necesitas tiempo y muuuucha paciencia. Esto se resuelve usando sólo los botones y dejando el cierre abierto, pero si quisieras cerrarlo, te tomaría bastante tiempo.2. mangas. Para una persona que no es alta, las mangas son extremadamente largas, pero, no se pueden cortar, porque tienen un cierre a lo largo de las mismas, entonces es imposible modificarlas. Lo que yo hice fue doblarlas, y aunque no es la mejor solución, me ha funcionado.3. gorro. es ENOOORME, al grado que me tapa media cabeza y pues eso puede ser muy bueno, o muy malo, porque con la lluvia pesa y te cubre los ojos y la mitad de tu campo de visión. En este caso, no he encontrado como resolver el problema, salvo levantando la mano para sostener el gorro en su lugar.Aún con esos detalles, estoy muy feliz con mi compra y si la recomiendo.Es un buen producto. J'ai pris la taille S/Petite et normalement je fais taille 36 (je mesure 1,63 et je pèse 52 k). Elle est très légère et il y a assez d'aisance pour mettre un gros pull en dessous. La veste est totalement résistante à l'eau et au froid. C'est pratique pour faire du vélo car les poches ont une fermeture éclair donc je peux mettre mon téléphone portable et mes clés dedans sans avoir peur de les perdre. C'est possible de fermer le col très haut pour se protèger contre le froid. Fabrication en Chine mais c'est la deuxième veste que j'achète de cette marque car la qualité est top.
