This Southern girl didn’t own any heavy coats so I purchased this coat for an unexpected trip to Chicago. Definitely worth it and kept me warm. I love the inside lining in the pockets.I normally wear x large (US size 12/14) but bought a large. It fits great, as long as I don’t gain any weight. An x large would have been too big. The material is lightweight but the coat is heavy overall, due to it being a long coat. Great coat for wearing but would be a pain to carry around if you get too warm. I bought this for a 2 week trip to Europe but ended up getting the Eddie Bauer thin coat made with down sheeting. I highly recommend the thin/down sheeting coat as it’s super thin and lightweight but kept me warm in the Swiss Alps in 30-40 degree temps.What a wonderful coat. It’s long enough to protect and is filled with real down. Other coats I have use the polyester fill and are not warm enough. I walk the dog in all kinds of weather and this is the best coat I’ve had. It fits great and looks great - not huge, but more tailored. I should buy another!The coat is super warm and it's long enough to cover 4" below the knee. I'm 5'10" and finding coats long enough is difficult.The sleeves are a little short and slight tight fitting. The lower half of the coat is too big.I was so excited when I finally got my coat and I must say that I am more than happy with the look and the quality of it ..I bought it for an upcoming trip to Alaska and this coat is so warm and perfect for super cold weatherI love this coat! Originally bought my college student a similar Eddie Bauer coat for college during the cold Michigan winter. She raved about the coat so I had to try it! This coat is so warm first off, it almost has to be less than 40 degrees for me to wear this “quilted blanket” of sorts. I have found myself roasting to death at meijers grocery shopping with this bad boy on and unzipped! On the flip side I have stayed super warm on my way walking into work I with them temp in the teens. The coat is nice and long, calf length on me. The double up/down zipper is excellent to assist getting into vehicles, to give a little more leg movement. I would highly recommend this coat, I am extremely satisfied with the quality and comfort as well as performance. 5/5 stars, Eddie Bauer you have outdone yourself.I am 5' 1" , dress. size 00P. This coat fits me with room to spare in the waist area. Length is mid-calf on me, wouldn't mind ankle length. Overall, elegant lines and very warm!I really love this coat. It's super warm and comfortable. The sleeve length is good for me. I'm 5'7". I normally wear a 14 or XL and this fits well in my size. I even have room for layers. The zipper slides nicely and zips both ways. No shedding feathers and it's very lightweight. I can't believe how warm it is in comparison to it's weight. It hits me about 3-4 inches below the knee. The hood and fur on the hood are removable. The hood feels a little deep with the fur, but it works find when snapped around the neck. The only thing I wish is that it had an inside pocket for a phone, and maybe some snaps in addition to the zipper. But it's a really great coat! The tag says "minimum 80% down" which is info I didn't see anywhere in the listing. I feel like I got a really deal!
